Tampa Accident Insurance
A fall or a broken wrist can hand you a deductible you never budgeted for. We line up accident plans that pay you cash for covered injuries, show what each one pays out, and let you make the call.

How accident insurance works
An accident plan pays you a fixed cash amount after a covered injury. A fracture has its own payout, and so do an ER visit, an ambulance ride and a hospital stay. The check comes to you rather than the hospital, and you choose how to use it.
It sits alongside your health plan rather than replacing it. Your health plan keeps paying medical bills once you meet the deductible. The accident plan helps cover that deductible, your copays and costs no plan pays for, such as lost work time or gas for follow-up appointments.
It usually fits best when you have a high deductible, play sports, have active children or spend your workday on your feet. As an independent insurance agency, we can compare plans from several carriers and explain how they differ in plain terms.

What you get when we review accident plans
- 01
A look at your current coverage
We start with the health plan you already have. We note your deductible and out-of-pocket max, because that is the gap an accident plan is meant to fill.
- 02
Side-by-side plan options
We put plans from multiple carriers on one page. You see the benefit for a fracture, an ER visit, an ambulance and a hospital day, row by row.
- 03
Screenshots of what we found
On a video call we share the actual plan pages on screen. Afterward we send you captures of the benefit schedules we looked at, so you have a record of what we found and what we picked.
- 04
Plain notes on the limits
Every plan has exclusions and waiting periods. We point them out before you sign, not after a claim.
- 05
Help with enrollment
If you choose a plan, we walk through the application with you and send a summary of what you bought.
Questions about Accident Insurance?
Call(813) 437-9168Signs accident coverage is worth a look
Your deductible is high
If one injury would cost you thousands before your health plan pays much, a cash benefit can cover a good part of that.
Your kids play sports
Sprains and broken bones are common in youth sports. A family accident plan pays for each covered child, not just one person.
You work a physical job
Lifting, ladders and long shifts raise the odds of an injury. Some plans pay on and off the job, so check which kind you have.
You have little savings set aside
A cash benefit can keep rent paid while you heal. That matters most when a missed week of work is hard to absorb.
You are not sure what your plan covers
Many clients find out they already have some accident benefits through work. We check so you do not pay twice.
How a consultation runs
- 1
You call us
Tell us who needs coverage and what health plan you carry now. The consultation is free, with no fee for our time.
- 2
We review and compare
We pull plans from several carriers and match them to your deductible and your daily life. Meet us at our office or by phone or video.
- 3
We show you the pages
We go over each plan with the benefit schedule on screen, then send you the captures and a written side-by-side.
- 4
You choose, we enroll
If one fits, we help with enrollment. If none fit, we tell you that too.
What sets the premium
Accident coverage tends to be one of the cheaper add-ons, though a few choices still change the price. We show what each one does to the premium so you can pick what is worth it. You pay nothing for our help, since the carrier you enroll with pays us and our office never sends you a bill.
- People on the plan
- Covering one person is cheaper than covering two. Children add to the price, though many plans cover every child for a single rate.
- Benefit amounts
- Bigger payouts for fractures, ER trips and hospital days raise the premium. We help you size the payout to your deductible.
- On-the-job coverage
- Plans that cover only off-the-job injuries are cheaper. 24-hour coverage costs more and suits people with physical jobs.
- Add-on riders
- Riders such as hospital stay or disability income raise the price. Some are worth it, and some aren't.
Accident coverage questions we get
Could an accident plan replace my health insurance?
No. It pays you cash on top of your health plan. You still need major medical coverage for illness, office visits and large bills, and we can help with that through individual health insurance and ACA marketplace plans.
Where does the claim money go?
Most plans send it to you. Use it for your deductible, copays, groceries or rent. Before you choose, we confirm how each plan pays benefits.
Does it cover illness?
No. These plans pay only for injuries from covered accidents, while your health plan covers sickness. Some carriers sell separate products for illness, and we will be upfront about what this plan does not cover.
Is there an enrollment season?
Usually not. Most accident plans, unlike ACA plans, can be bought any time of year. A few have a brief wait before benefits start, and we mention that up front.
What does the consultation cost?
Nothing. There is no consultation fee, and we are paid by the carrier of the plan you pick. Whatever you decide, you leave with the side-by-side options and the screenshots.
